The 29th Annual Great Irish Fair of New York

The Great Irish Fair is all about having fun and enjoying Irish culture–any person found to be interfering with the enjoyment of others or failing to comply with fair personnel will be removed from the fairgrounds immediately

The Fair will go on rain or shine.

Donation to Enter the Fair*

Adults: $12 per day – 12 years and older
Family: $30 – 2 adults and their children

Children under 12 are admitted for free.

*All net proceeds derived from the Fair are donated to charity.


The Great Irish Fair does not offer parking. There are privately owned parking facilities near the Fair.

We encourage all who wish to attend the Fair to utilize mass transit. The train is just a few city blocks from the Fairgrounds. For mass transit directions go to Directions.

Mass at the Fair

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. inside of the Cultural Tent both days.


The Fair will go on rain or shine. There will be several tents setup throughout the fair grounds.

Are children welcome to the Fair?

Absolutely! The GIF is a safe family friendly event offering food, music, dancing, and an assortment of children’s activities including rides, face painting, balloonists, and magic shows. Please note the children’s activities require an additional fee.

Sorry, no, pets are not permitted at the Fair.

Outside Food and Drink

Visitors are not permitted to bring in outside food or drinks. There will be several vendors offering an assortment of foods and drinks throughout the Fair grounds.

Fair Proceeds

100% of the net proceeds derived from the GIF is donated to charity.
The Irish American Building Society Charities, Inc., (“IABSC”) the charitable arm of The Irish American Building Society, Inc., is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation duly licensed and registered with the New York State Secretary of State.
